The best candidates for the Colorado Sheet Metal Workers’ Apprenticeship Program enjoy working with their head and with their hands. Here’s how to become an Apprentice and start your Sheet Metal Career today.

Requirements:

At least 17 years of age

High School Diploma or GED and transcripts

Valid and current Driver’s License

Able to lift 50-100 lbs.

Able to climb a ladder

Proof of age and eligibility to work in the US

(Birth Certificate, Passport, SSI Card, etc.)

The Best of the Best:

Mechanically Inclined

Good Math Skills

Ability to Learn New Things Quickly

Good Spatial Awareness

Enjoy Working Both Outdoors and Indoors

Committed to School Along with Work

Committed to Building a Career

Enjoy Improving your Community with your Work

Experience with Hand Tools and/or Power Tools

(Professionally or Recreationally)

Veterans:
